Founded in 1955, we are an Engineering News-Record Top ²⁵⁰⁄₂₂₀ Firm. We offer civil, environmental, and transportation engineering, along with landscape architecture, surveying, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), and construction administration and inspection. Our services also cover traffic, roadway, and bridge engineering, coatings inspections, planning, water resources, and site design.

We operate across the Eastern United States, serving public and private clients in 9 states and Washington D.C. We have 23 offices. Some of our projects include Route 1 Improvements in Fort Belvoir, VA; Skipper Bowles Drive Reconstruction in Chapel Hill, NC; Rock Castle Creek Stream Restoration; and the Van Buren Street Bridge in Falls Church, VA.
