We are looking for an analytical and creative Junior Systems Consultant for our Integrated Global Services branch based out of Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, or Toronto branch locations to design, develop, deploy, maintain, and continuously innovate Long View’s Cloud Management Platform capabilities! You will work to solve complex business problems by using integrated technology and tools. The work you do every day will help shape how integrated cloud management technology is used to service Long View and our clients.
A Day in the Life:
- Perform new client onboarding into Long View’s N-Able platform
- Fulfill support requests submitted by Long View staff and clients related to the N-Able platform
- Diagnose, operate, administer, configure and maintain the N-Able platform
- Work closely with peers supporting the N-Able platform to diagnosis and solve platform availability and performance issues
- Maintain and administer configuration data. Manage N-Able accounts and roles, process access requests.
- Administer application data daily, process queries and ad-hoc reporting as requested by users
- Provide technical guidance and assistance to less experienced staff and clients on the N-Able platform
- Create and manage user documentation and training materials.
- Monitor and manage incident ticket queue, obtaining the necessary information from users when they are requesting support and registering this information in incident requests in an efficient, accurate and complete fashion.
- Coordinate the validation of changes to the N-Able platform and document release changes.
- Maintain communications with customers, end users, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the N-Able system.
- Provide development, configuration, and support for reporting tools
- Provide after-hours and on-call support as required.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and technology developments
- Maintain certifications
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring:
- 1+ years working in an IT services support position
- 1+ years scripting and coding experience
- 1+ years working with reporting tools such as PowerBI
- Experience writing data scripts using Powershell
- Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to include high-quality technical documentation and diagrams
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, developers, and subject matter experts
- Ability to convert technical knowledge into easily understood terms
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
- Excellent client relationship skills
- Excellent at multi-tasking and working well under pressure
- Proven ability to produce quality products and meet deadlines
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player

$52,900 - $69,431 a year
Expected salary range between $52,900 to $69,431 per annum plus 10% variable earnings
