Lubetzky Family Foundation

Established in 2018, we are a philanthropic organization focused on fostering empathy and critical thinking to build resilient democracies and safeguard humanity. We counter global trends towards authoritarianism, xenophobia, hate, and extremism by promoting democratic values like free speech, the rule of law, basic human rights, and a free and independent press.

We also promote Jewish values such as kindness, respect, human decency, justice, and tikkun olam (repairing the world), and work towards peace and security for Israel and its neighbors. Our programs and partners teach flexible thinking and constructive problem-solving to prevent hatred, dehumanization, and violence.

We operate The KIND Foundation’s Hardship Relief Program and do not accept unsolicited grant requests. Our work also includes developing and managing Daniel Lubetzky’s multimedia content platforms to share his ideas, and we support the philanthropy team’s administrative, operational, and grantmaking functions.

We encourage listening, healthy debate, questioning biases, assuming positive intent, reserving judgment, and allowing for mistakes. We also value moderation, balance, and nuanced critical thinking to solve problems, while upholding fairness, integrity, freedom, and active civic participation.

We believe everyone has the power and responsibility to shape the world and aim to empower citizens through social entrepreneurship and a bias for action.

Our team is small, with 1-10 individuals. We foster a supportive and inclusive work environment focused on impact-driven philanthropy.

Many roles offer remote or hybrid work, though some may require occasional travel, on-site presence, or weekend/evening availability depending on the job.

We offer competitive annual compensation; for example, one role has a salary range of $65,000-$75,000. Our benefits include excellent health, dental, and vision insurance, with 100% company coverage options.

We offer 25 days of paid time off (5 sick days, 20 personal days), and we provide a 401K with a company match. Remote and hybrid work options are available. We also have a Charitable Gift Matching Program to support causes our employees care about.
