Machinify, founded in 2016, is a software development company focused on healthcare IT. We optimize healthcare payment processes, especially payment integrity, by combining an AI-powered platform with domain expertise.

Our AI operating system processes healthcare data to improve the speed, quality, and accuracy of payment integrity. The platform integrates claims, medical records, contracts, and policies in real time through a unified data layer. It learns coding and payment logic from billions of healthcare data points, uses task-specific agents for independent work, and continuously improves with human feedback and business outcomes.

Our solutions aim to reduce healthcare costs and improve financial outcomes. Our AI capabilities include detecting anomalies, reviewing claims and medical records, identifying errors, rerouting claims, finding clinical and coding errors, processing medical records and itemized bills, and automating claim recoding and repricing. We emphasize responsible AI, incorporating human oversight, continuous feedback, bias monitoring, performance testing, model explainability, and compliance with industry standards.

We offer flexible deployment models: insourced, hybrid, or fully-managed. We work with over 90 customers, including 18 of the top 20 health plans, covering 220 million members across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid. We have helped avoid or recover over $6 billion annually. We acquired Performant Healthcare to further develop intelligent healthcare payments.
