Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger accurately and in a timely manner.
- Record and reconcile daily sales transactions across multiple channels.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and for submission to banking partners.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable transactions and ensure proper allocations.
- Prepare and submit cash flow reports, funding requests, and other financial schedules as needed.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations.
- Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
- This role is expected to work for a US based retail client.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or any related field
- 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
- CPA is not mandatory
- Preferably worked with a US Retail client.
- Preferably someone with experience in General Ledger (GL).
- Airtable and QuickBooks experience are a plus
Skills:
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (ERP experience a plus) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines efficiently.
