Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Record and reconcile daily sales transactions across multiple channels.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and for submission to banking partners.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable transactions and ensure proper allocations.
  • Prepare and submit cash flow reports, funding requests, and other financial schedules as needed.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations.
  • Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
  • This role is expected to work for a US based retail client.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or any related field
  • 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
  • CPA is not mandatory
  • Preferably worked with a US Retail client.
  • Preferably someone with experience in General Ledger (GL).
  • Airtable and QuickBooks experience are a plus

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (ERP experience a plus) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Airtable, QuickBooks are a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines efficiently.

Other:

  • High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential client data.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Hybrid Set-up

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM TO 5:00 PM EST | 9:00 PM TO 6:00 AM PHT (including 1 hour break)
