We founded VITRU in 2016 to help organizations worldwide find senior-level executives, interim managers, and hard-to-find talent. We primarily operate across EMEA.

We use our international executive search experience, industry knowledge, and professional network to help clients. Our fixed-fee, turnkey service model ensures transparency.

We were named the Best International Executive Recruitment Firm – Benelux in 2021 and 2022.

Our name, VITRU, comes from Leonardo Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man, representing our dedication to finding the “ideal candidate”. It also draws from the Latin word for “glass”, reflecting our commitment to transparent processes and clear communication with both companies and candidates.

We are a small team of 1-10 employees. Our Founder and Partner, Guy Laeven, established VITRU in November 2016 in Barcelona before moving it to Amsterdam in January 2019. He has over 15 years of international experience in commercial recruitment, corporate recruitment, and human resources.
