Job Description
As a Finished Artist / Production Designer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, precision-driven artwork across both print and digital outputs, ensuring all files are production-ready, pixel-perfect, and aligned with brand and platform standards.
This role is a balanced 50⁄50 split between print and technical artwork setup and digital advertising execution.
You will also support the rollout of campaign assets, including the setup of graphics and supers for video and motion content, working closely with the motion editor to ensure consistency, accuracy, and seamless production delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Core Responsibility: Finished Art — Print & Digital Production
Artwork Setup & Production
- Prepare and finalise artwork to meet print and digital production specifications
- Ensure correct file setup, colour profiles, bleed, trims, resolution, formats, and export settings
- Produce press-ready print files and production-ready digital assets
- Adapt master artwork into multiple formats, sizes, and outputs while maintaining creative integrity
- Apply brand guidelines consistently across campaign, retail, OOH, packaging, POS, and digital assets
Quality Control & Technical Accuracy
Conduct detailed pre-flight checks and ensure technical compliance before delivery
Maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
Manage version control and asset organisation across multiple deliverables
Troubleshoot production issues and resolve artwork or output challenges efficiently
Ensure final files meet supplier, printer, media, and platform specifications
Workflow, Autonomy & Collaboration
- Manage multiple projects with strong organisation, prioritisation, and time management
- Work autonomously while maintaining clear communication with the Melbourne-based team
- Implement feedback efficiently while preserving quality and intent
- Balance speed, accuracy, and creative excellence in a fast-paced agency environment
- Contribute to process improvements, workflow efficiencies, and quality standards
Must-have Skills / Qualifications:
Technical & Design
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
- Intermediate experience in Figma
- Proven experience preparing print-ready and digital-ready artwork
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour, grids, and composition
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Organisational & Production
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and outputs
- Strong understanding of production workflows and asset management
- Comfortable working independently in a remote agency environment

Advantageous Experience/Skills:
- Strong knowledge of print production, pre-press, and technical artwork setup
- UI/UX exposure, with intermediate proficiency in Figma
- Experience designing for web, apps, social, email, eCommerce, and digital advertising
- Familiarity with design systems, UI libraries, and developer handoff tools
- Experience working in a creative or digital agency
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or front-end constraints
- Motion design or micro-interaction experience
- Experience working with enterprise design systems or large brand ecosystems
- Experience in Slack & Monday.com collaboration tools
