Founded in 2019, we are a national, technology-driven Third Party Administrator (TPA) for self-funded employer health plans. Our goal is to reduce costs and improve health outcomes for employers and members using intelligent systems and proven programs. We operate in the Insurance Agencies and Brokerages industry.

We offer comprehensive TPA administration for health, COBRA, dental, and vision plans. This includes pharmacy benefits management, compliance support, actionable analysis, and plan design. We provide access to provider networks like Aetna and Cigna, offering competitive discounts and non-network options through direct contracts. Our claims processing uses SMART automation to efficiently review high-cost codes and clinically assess high-dollar claims. This aims to save up to 60% on out-of-network claims. Our cost containment strategies include competitive network discounts, out-of-network repricing, a Pharmacy Savings Program, reference-based pricing, captive solutions, and a value-based care network.

Our in-house Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) solution, MarpaiRx, can save over 25% on total pharmacy spending. We pass eligible rebates to employers and help reduce member copays across a network of 60,000 pharmacies. We also have a member-centric pharmacy savings program that can save up to 75% on specialty and high-cost medications. Our in-house, nurse-led care management team provides Utilization Management (UM), Case Management (CM), Acute Care Management, and Chronic Care Management services. They proactively guide members to avoid unnecessary care and intervene when members face high-cost chronic conditions. Our Marpai Connect program identifies and enrolls high-risk members into value-based clinical programs. We also offer the Marpai Vitality Plan, a self-funded insurance option for small employers with under 100 employees.

For members, we focus on a member-centric approach, providing proactive appointment reminders, guiding them to high-quality in-network providers, and offering tools like the myMarpai App and myMarpai Medical Shopping Tool. These digital platforms allow members to access health ID cards, view benefits, track spending, find providers, manage family care, review claims, and compare provider pricing. This helps them make informed decisions and ensures compliance with the Transparency in Coverage Rule and No Surprises Act. We use machine learning and deep learning technologies to streamline our operations and maximize health outcomes.
