About Gravie

We started Gravie in 2013 to provide health benefits for small and midsize employers (SMBs). We offer health plans that include level-funded options, traditional copay, and HSA plans.

Our flagship product, Comfort, is a level-funded health plan designed to provide zero-cost coverage for most common healthcare services. We also offer an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) solution.

We are a licensed third-party administrator (TPA) for self-funded health plans. We partner with Cigna and Aetna Signature Administrators (ASA) for provider network access and manage claims and benefit details internally. Starting January 1, 2026, we will switch our pharmacy benefit manager to Express Scripts, replacing CVS Caremark.

We provide self-service tools for healthcare providers to verify patient eligibility and benefits, and track claims and payments. Providers will be able to use Availity for eligibility verification, benefits review, and electronic claims submission starting March 2026.

Last year, 94% of office visits with Comfort were covered at no cost to members, and employers offering Comfort saved an average of 15% in total premium costs. Employer groups report 97% satisfaction with their health plans, and employers using our ICHRA solution saved as much as 29% on healthcare costs at renewal.

Mission & Values

We want to improve how people purchase and access healthcare. Our goal is to create health plans for the future that truly benefit small and midsize businesses.

Our culture is built on four core principles:

  • ‘No jerk policy’: We encourage respectful interactions.
  • ‘Reasonable people do reasonable things’: We promote trust among colleagues.
  • ‘Think critically and then speak your mind’: We foster participation and idea sharing.
  • ‘Remove obstacles’: We emphasize a proactive approach to challenges, just like our goal of simplifying health benefits.

Team & Culture

We have 201-500 employees who are passionate, smart, and creative individuals dedicated to improving healthcare.

We value our employees and strive to create a great place to work that is mission-driven and ready for growth. We encourage an agile, accountable, and impactful approach, along with critical thinking and open communication across all our teams.

Benefits & Perks

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes opportunities for stock options and eligibility for an annual bonus program.

Our employees receive generous and flexible paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401k program. We also provide up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave and one week of paid paw-ternity leave.

Our health benefits include comprehensive coverage, with employees receiving the benefits of our Comfort plan. Additional perks include life insurance, transportation reimbursement, cell phone reimbursement, and education reimbursement.
