As well as exceptional customer service, technical innovation, and manufacturing expertise, we continue to be a leader in our field in corporate responsibility and sustainable business practice.

Our Commercial Enablement function exists to translate our commercial strategy, products and processes into clear, accessible and actionable learning that helps sales teams perform at their best.

So, What’s the Mission? As a Learning Developer, your mission is to empower our sales teams to perform at their very best. You’ll take complex product information, commercial strategies, and sales processes and turn them into structured, engaging, and accessible learning experiences that make a real difference in the day-to-day work of our teams.

This role is at the heart of commercial enablement, you’ll design, develop, and maintain high-quality digital content, including e-learning modules, microlearning interventions, videos, job aids, and playbooks.

Your mission is to enable commercial excellence. You will do this by:

  • Ensuring our sales enablement platform is well-organised, intuitive and fully adopted by our commercial teams
  • Supporting product launches, campaigns and initiatives with the right readiness activities.
  • Using performance data and feedback to continuously refine training and enablement interventions.
  • Acting as a connector between teams to ensure alignment, clarity and consistency across the commercial ecosystem.
  • Ultimately, your work will help sales teams spend less time searching for information and more time selling effectively.

What are the mission-critical skills? To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a mix of learning design expertise, commercial understanding and operational rigour, including:

  • Strong instructional and learning design skills, with hands-on experience creating digital learning content.
  • Confidence using learning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Canva or similar.
  • A solid understanding of the sales process and the challenges faced by commercial teams.
  • Experience managing learning management systems, enablement platforms, CRMs or intranets.
  • The ability to analyse training effectiveness using data, metrics and feedback loops.
  • Excellent written, visual and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A proactive, self-driven mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally while owning and delivering your own work.
  • A genuine commitment to inclusive, accessible learning, applying accessibility standards to digital content.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with Docebo, sales enablement platforms, CRM superuser responsibilities, agile content development or commercial operations is highly desirable but not essential.

What’s in It for You? You won’t just be creating content; you’ll be shaping how learning is experienced. From supporting product launches and campaigns to monitoring engagement and analysing performance data, you’ll help the business understand what works, what needs improving, and where the real opportunities for learning and development lie.

If you enjoy seeing your work actively used, influencing performance, and being part of a dynamic, cross-functional environment, this is a chance to do exactly that- helping Marshalls’ commercial teams win more every day.
