About the Role
As a key OT you will:
- Manage a community-based caseload aligned to your clinical interests and experience
- Conduct comprehensive assessments across emotional, cognitive, developmental, psychosocial, and physical domains
- Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based therapy plans
- Provide environmental modification recommendations for homes, schools, workplaces, and supported living environments
- Prescribe and support the implementation of Assistive Technology (AT) to promote independence and participation
- Work collaboratively with families, support coordinators, and other health professionals
- Ensure compliance with NDIS guidelines and relevant legislation
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- 3–5 years of post-graduate experience, ideally within disability or community settings
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with complex presentations
- A proactive, client-centred approach and desire to help grow local services
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team culture
- Interest in a preferred caseload area (e.g. paediatrics, complex needs, functional capacity assessments) — we’ll tailor this together
