We founded Florence Health in 2019 as a technology-driven healthcare company. We partner with government and other payers to take on the total cost of care risk for patients. Our proprietary technology improves primary care outcomes through a network of independent affiliated practices and Florence-branded clinics staffed by our team.

Our core platform, Nightingale, comes from years of research and development in healthcare data and patient records. The Nightingale platform helps primary care providers lower costs by improving patient outcomes and promoting high-value care. Unlike standard insurance, which often focuses on pre-authorization and denial of care, we focus on preventive care, disease management, and reducing fraud, waste, and abuse. In 2024, providers and patients on our platform saw over 15% in savings.

Nightingale is EMR agnostic, integrating with existing electronic medical record systems to deliver actionable patient-level insights. It’s HIPAA compliant and available on Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS devices. We offer primary care providers market-leading payment terms, including fee-for-service or capitation. Providers can join our ACO and payer networks or license our technology to support their existing performance contracts. Our platform supports a range of organizations, including small practices, large enterprises, hospitals, health systems, IPAs, ACOs, and MSOs. We specialize in primary care, customer service, healthcare benefits, and addressing medical and social needs.

We are a rapidly expanding, mission-driven team of 51-200 employees. Our work environment emphasizes collaboration across our analytics, operations, and product teams. Many of our roles are remote with flexible hours, often involving quarterly travel.
