Job Description
Melbourne Speech Pathologists - We Hear You! (…and we’d love you on our team)
If you’re a Speech Pathologist with 2+ years’ experience and you’re looking for a role that truly speaks your language, this could be the perfect fit.
Whether you call Caroline Springs, Bundoora or Dandenong home (or somewhere in between),
Ability Action Australia has a spot ready for someone who knows their way around a good goal, a tricky communication aid, and a well-timed visual schedule.
What We’re Offering (no need to “articulate” your requests, we’ve got you)
- Starting salary from $90,000 (based on experience)
- KM travel reimbursement
- Relocation allowance *interstate*
- Up to $1,500 external PD allowance each year
- Performance incentives
- Laptop, smartphone & clinical toolkit
- Hybrid flexibility: home, clinic or café
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Salary packaging options
- Weekly supervision + mentoring
- A supportive MDT crew who won’t leave you hanging mid-sentence
Who We’re Looking For - Speech Pathologists (2+ years’ experience) who:
- Feel confident clinically but still love learning
- Are collaborative, kind and can handle the occasional communication breakdown
- Want genuine flexibility and a team that won’t “ghost” them
- Love a good market, café, hike… or just an uninterrupted lunch break
- Bonus points if you love a good SP pun — we don’t discriminate… unless it’s auditory.
