Staff Accountant

We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to take ownership of full-cycle accounting processes and play a critical role in our team. This is a hands-on role where your work will directly impact cash flow, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Customer Invoicing & Collections
- Prepare and issue accurate and timely customer invoices
- Track outstanding balances and manage the collections process
Accounts Payable
- Enter and code vendor bills accurately, ensuring proper approvals and timely payments
- Monitor AP aging and maintain positive vendor relationships
Sales Tax Reporting
- Prepare and file monthly/quarterly sales tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
- Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
Month-End Close Support
- Assist in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports
- Maintain monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Support the Finance team with month-end reconciliations and reporting schedules
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles (software company experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
- Proficiency in Excel, NetSuite experience a plus
