We offer an open-source, RESTful search API and an AI retrieval platform. Our goal is to provide fast, relevant, and customizable search that combines traditional search with AI retrieval. You can easily add our platform to any website or application. It provides instant, typo-tolerant search that understands filters and custom rankings.

Our search engine, built with Rust, was founded in 2018. It delivers results in under 50 milliseconds, even with “search-as-you-type” functionality. It also deploys with smart presets for zero configuration and offers out-of-the-box relevancy.

Our platform supports full-text search (including geosearch and faceting), multi-modal search for images, videos, and audio, filtering, faceting, sorting, federated search across multiple data sources, and search analytics. We prioritize developer experience by offering an API and SDKs for JavaScript, PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, Go, .NET, Dart, Rust, and Swift. We also have integrations for React, Vue, Angular, Rails, and Symfony.

Thousands of organizations and developers worldwide use our platform. For example, Hugging Face uses us for AI model discoverability, and Louis Vuitton uses us to enhance their retail search. We are backed by investors like Felicis Ventures, CRV, LocalGlobe, Seedcamp, Mango Capital, and Kima Ventures.
