The Opportunity
The Head of Implementations is a critically important position at Melita. Every new client relationship begins with implementation, and the quality of that experience sets the trajectory for retention, expansion, and reference-ability for years to come. We’re looking for an experienced project management professional who can lead this function end-to-end: the stakeholders, the playbooks, the technology, and the cross-functional execution required to bring complex HR, benefits, and payroll clients live on our platform with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Implementations. Lead all new client onboardings across HR administration, payroll, benefits, and leave of absence services. Own the outcomes: time to live, client satisfaction at go-live, and clean handoffs to ongoing service teams.
- Technology and Data Integrations. Partner closely with our internal technology team on platform configuration, data migrations, and integrations across systems including Salesforce and client facing technologies including ADP, Paylocity, Rippling, and others. Ensure technical setup is scalable, reliable, and built to last.
- Cross-Functional Partnership. Work hand-in-hand with Sales, Client Success, Service Delivery, Product, and Finance to align on client expectations, scope, pricing assumptions, and post-implementation transitions. Be the connective tissue that ensures what was sold is what gets delivered.
- Strategic Planning. Lead annual planning for the implementations function, including capacity modeling, technology investment priorities, and alignment with Melita’s broader product and service roadmap.
- AI and Automation. Identify and champion opportunities to apply AI, automation, and modern tooling to implementation workflows. Melita is actively building an AI-forward operating model, and this function is a priority area for investment.
Requirements

- Experience in SaaS, professional services, HR tech, or related industries preferred, but not required.
