The Role
As the Treasury Front Office Manager, you will lead the “Execution Desk” of the Moneybox Treasury function. Your mission is to drive commercial value through yield optimisation, proactive liquidity management, and the development of robust banking partnerships. This is a strategic execution role designed to ensure that Moneybox’s vast cash reserves are deployed efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with internal and regulatory guardrails.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for banking partners and lead the front-office effort to support new product development.
What you’ll do
- 1. Market Execution & Yield Optimisation
- Cash Placements: Execute daily market transactions and manage cash positioning to ensure optimal yield operating within liquidity policy guiderails.
- Rate Optimisation: Proactively target gross rate expectations and identify structural options to increase yield across the portfolio.
- Yield Optionality: Target yield through policy optionality across Fixed, Notice, and Easy Access products.
- Counterparty Management: Manage counterparty limits and product splits to ensure a diversified and risk-appropriate portfolio.
2. Liquidity & Policy Compliance
- Guardrail Application: Apply liquidity policy guardrails to all placements to ensure they meet the firm’s governance requirements.
- Forecasting Requirements: Forecast future liquidity requirements and match maturities
- Forward-Looking Analysis: Conduct forward-looking analysis of liquidity positions to ensure continuous compliance with liquidity policies.
- Policy Stewardship: Manage amendments to Liquidity and Counterparty policies, ensuring they are optimised by consumer behavior modeling.
3. Relationship Management & Pipeline Development
- Banking Partnerships: Act as the primary relationship manager for all banking partners..
- Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain a strong banking partner pipeline to increase capacity and support the growth of Moneybox.
4. Product Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Product Support: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support the development of new products.
- Middle Office Liaison: Work closely with the Middle Office to manage forecast Net Interest Income (NII) positions for all products and target placements for successful product management.
- Committee Reporting: Lead the production of front-office insights for the Treasury Management Committee (TMC) and CASS & Trust Committee (CTC).
Experience & Skills:
- Front Office Expertise: 3+ years in a Treasury environment, with specific experience in front-office execution, cash placement, and relationship management.
- Analytical Mindset: Expert at modeling consumer behavior and conducting forward-looking analysis to drive treasury decisions.
- Banking Knowledge: Deep understanding of the wholesale deposit market and experience managing complex banking relationships.
- Governance Awareness: Ensuring all execution remains within a strict control environment.
- Communication: An excellent communicator capable of influencing senior stakeholders and external partners at pace.

Working Policy: We have a hybrid policy that includes 2 days from our London office and 3 from home. If the role states it is either hybrid or remote candidates must be based within the UK.
