Designs, builds, and operates satellite constellations for Earth intelligence and mission-critical data.

About Muon Space

Founded in 2021, we design, build, and operate satellite constellations to provide Earth intelligence and critical data. Our integrated technology platform, Muon Halo™, helps us get satellites into orbit faster and improve remote sensing. This platform includes MuSim for digital engineering and simulation, MuOS for data management, and the MuSat and MuCore software building blocks.

Our production facility focuses on integrating various satellites using standard hardware and a consistent software operating system. We develop satellite constellations in three stages:

  • Design: We optimize the satellite’s architecture for specific data products.
  • Build: We prioritize quick and reliable deployment using modular hardware, service-oriented software, and thorough validation.
  • Operate: We automate planning, tasking, data collection, and delivery.

We apply our technology to climate monitoring, national security, and wildfire detection. We partner with government agencies and private companies. For example, we support the Next-Generation Missile Defense Architecture, work with the USAF and USSF to develop a weather data system, and collaborate with Hydrosat on agricultural intelligence. Our FireSat mission delivers infrared geospatial imagery to federal customers.
