About the opportunity

We’re seeking a Product Manager to join our Savings Team to help shape and elevate our core savings offerings. Our Investments team is dedicated to empowering retail investors by building accessible, transparent, and innovative wealth-building products, including Instant Savings and similar propositions. We believe that saving and investing should be simple, intuitive, fair, and aligned with long-term financial success.

As a Product Manager in this team, you’ll drive the evolution of our core Savings offerings, ensuring they are best-in-class for our customers while also being scalable, compliant, and well-integrated with partners and platforms. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, business, data, compliance, and external stakeholders. Above all, you’ll bring a passion for personal finance to the team, using your drive to help people build a better relationship with their money and achieve their savings goals.

To excel in this role, you ideally have a tight grasp of investment products from a retail investor’s perspective, plus an understanding of the ecosystem, partnerships, and infrastructure required to deliver these products at scale. You will draw on this experience to balance customer needs with regulatory requirements while driving execution and delivering results.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the Savings Roadmap: Define and execute the product strategy for our core Savings offerings, ensuring alignment with N26’s broader wealth-building goals and adapting swiftly to shifting market dynamics (like changing interest rate environments).
  • Lead End-to-End Execution: Drive the product development lifecycle for new and existing savings features—from initial user research and technical scoping to engineering delivery, go-to-market strategy, and post-launch iteration.
  • Navigate Complex Ecosystems: Act as the central node between engineering, design, compliance, and legal teams to safely and swiftly bring scalable products to market while adhering to strict regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Strategic Partnerships: Work closely with third-party providers and external financial institutions to ensure seamless integrations and robust infrastructure for our savings propositions.
  • Drive Commercial & User Growth: Own key performance metrics focused on adoption, engagement, and retention. You will design and implement initiatives that actively encourage positive, long-term saving habits for our customers.
  • Champion Data-Driven Decisions: Dive deep into user behavior, market trends, and competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities, optimize the customer journey, and continuously refine our portfolio.

What you need to be successful:

Background:

  • 3+ years of product management experience in fintech, specifically building customer-facing wealth-building, savings, or banking products.
  • Proven experience bringing regulated financial products to market, including managing third-party partnerships, API integrations, and navigating regulatory bodies.
  • Deep empathy for the user. You care deeply about UX and know how to translate complex financial concepts into simple, intuitive, and engaging customer journeys.
  • Able to craft a long-term product vision while executing effectively in the short term, always keeping an eye on market dynamics (like shifting interest rates) and business impact.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, compliance, legal, marketing, and finance teams, as well as managing external B2B relationships.
  • Strong ability to interpret investment data, market trends, and user insights to optimize adoption, retention, and product growth.
