About Navan
We were founded in 2015 by Ariel Cohen and Ilan Twig as TripActions, and we rebranded to Navan in 2023. We offer an all-in-one platform for business travel and expense management.
Our Navan Travel service helps organizations build and manage travel programs. Employees can book from a wide inventory within set spending limits. Navan Expense centralizes spend management with automated categorization, reporting and reimbursements. We use AI to provide insights, helping teams save time and money.
For payments, we offer Navan corporate cards, and Navan Connect, which is compatible with Visa, Mastercard and American Express corporate cards. Navan Connect also allows linking external cards from over 250 banks (as of 2024), and we support reimbursements for personal card spending.
We provide 24⁄7 global support with expert travel agents and Ava, our AI-enhanced virtual assistant. Reed & Mackay is available for premium service.
We’ve expanded our travel inventory through partnerships with providers like Priceline, Booking.com, Agoda and Expedia. In 2019, we started adopting New Distribution Capability (NDC), offering access to 17 airlines by 2024. We also implemented a dual-GDS model with Amadeus integration in 2021. Our technology uses AI, data science and user experience design.
We serve a wide range of clients, from small businesses to global enterprises, including frequent travelers, finance teams, travel managers and executive assistants. In 2021, we acquired Reed & Mackay, which helped us expand into the European market. We continued our global growth in 2022 by acquiring Comtravo and Resia in Europe, and Tripeur in India. By 2022, we had 50 global offices. Our headquarters are in Palo Alto, CA.
