Universal Television Entertainment is responsible for world-class television entertainment. The division programs and markets content across leading entertainment brands Bravo, NBC and Peacock, and produces over 3,000 hours of television annually through Universal Studio Group, the studio business comprised of Universal Television, UCP, Universal International Studios and Universal Television Alternative Studio. Together, these teams align NBCUniversal’s content and production expertise to inspire global audiences with television that entertains and shapes culture.
Job Description
The coordinator provides support to two senior executives on the Production & Operations team, as well as the wider Los Angeles-based department.
Responsibilities:
- Support EVP and SVP by maintaining calendar, scheduling meetings with numerous attendees as requested, reserving conference rooms, preparing documents, arranging business travel, and preparing expense reports
- Serve as a liaison between executives, internal departments, and external businesses to ensure that all matters are attended to in an efficient and timely fashion
- Working on various assigned projects for the Production & Operations Department
- Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings across the team
- Ensure updates are current for key internal department production grids and distribute on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to appropriate teams as needed
- Develop and curate creative decks and presentations showcasing department successes, milestones, and strategic wins for internal and executive audiences
- Collaborate across teams to collect, validate, and consolidate production data, ensuring accurate and consistent reporting of key statistics
- Manage file organization across shared drives and production management systems
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive production information
- Provide general administrative coverage and ad hoc support as production needs evolve
- Act as a central point of contact for the team for internal NBCUniversal business procedures and system access, assisting teams with navigation, compliance, and issue resolution
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- 2+ years of production-related experience, assisting multiple executives is a plus
- Proficient working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Media, TV/Film/Streaming Production
Desired Characteristics:
- A self-starter who is effective in verbal and written communication
- Thrives in both a team environment and on their own with a desire to be a part of the process and ask questions for better understanding, as well as advancement of knowledge
- Flexible when it comes to changing duties and re-focusing priorities.
- Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of the visual media landscape and pop culture; a passion for television & streaming content strongly desired.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with an ability to coordinate with multiple different departments, including those based in Los Angeles and New York
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines
- Technologically savvy enough to be able to operate and understand the latest software, internet / digital formats, and social media advancements with the flexibility to grow with the changing media landscape
- Prior production experience preferred, but not mandatory

- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
