Job Description
The Director, Global Streaming Finance will lead financial planning, reporting, and cost management for the Global Streaming platform, overseeing both OpEx and CapEx. This role partners closely with Global Streaming Finance, Technology, and Product leadership to ensure disciplined investment, operational efficiency, and accurate financial reporting across a large-scale digital platform.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical finance expertise, deep analytical capabilities, and the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business decisions in an evolving streaming environment. This role will report to the VP of Global Streaming finance.
Responsibilities
- Own Global Streaming OpEx and CapEx budgets, partnering with leadership in GS Finance, Technology and Product teams to plan, forecast and report financial results
- Establish a deep understanding on cost inputs to build, run and maintain the Global Streaming platform
- Run the monthly close process, inclusive of approving journal entries, actuals reporting, variance analysis
- Work with NBCU and Sky teams to focus on fixed (operational and development headcount) and variable (Cloud, CDN, VOD/Linear) costs, with a focus on efficiency
- Prepare and communicate presentation packages for executive leadership
- Ad-hoc finance support for cost analysis, including financial modelling and other requests as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or similar field
- 8+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
- Experience with SAP
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint User
- MBA, CPA or advanced degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus

- Exceptional organization and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities or projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of finance, operations, and senior management

- Agile and adaptable, demonstrating effectiveness in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
- Entertainment/Media experience preferred
Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
