In this role, you will be part of the Revenue Products Management team, building and evolving the systems that power Smoobu’s subscription management, billing, and monetization. You will develop business-critical solutions that enable customers to manage their subscriptions seamlessly, support flexible pricing models, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
In this role, you will
- Autonomously plan and execute full-quarter complexity projects, set measurable milestones, manage complex dependencies and scope
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable and scalable backend systems supporting subscription lifecycles, billing, and monetization
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to refine product direction, recommend impactful improvements delivering customer value, and strengthen feedback loops
- Take ownership of business-critical functionality, ensuring correctness, reliability, and maintainability
- Propose and implement tangible technical initiatives improving team velocity and overall software quality, and mentor your colleagues
- Continuously improve the way we use AI-assisted and agentic coding, hit impossible goals and make it the new normal
- Contribute to transforming Smoobu Tech into a cloud-native, service-oriented architecture
What you will bring
- Solid experience with modern PHP & Symfony
- Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
- Familiarity of Docker and containerized environments
- Exceptional understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Experience in designing and working with event-driven, asynchronous and integration-heavy systems
- Excellence in problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership
- Advanced AI-assisted software development, including agentic coding tools and workflows
- Experience in mentoring team members, providing technical guidance, constructive feedback, and support while fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset and business curiosity
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a distributed team
Nice to have:
- Practical knowledge of SaaS subscription management, recurring billing, payment providers, or monetization platforms
- Familiarity with layered architectures, CQRS patterns, Domain-Driven Design principles
- Full-stack engineering experience including infrastructure and frontend

Salary range:
125 - 209 PLN/h + VAT (B2B)
17 500 - 29 200 PLN gross (Permanent)
