We are looking for a talented Automation Engineer to join our dynamic and growing Public Safety R&D engineering team in Pune.

How will you make an impact?
Participate as an active Scrum team member in all Agile ceremonies.
Understand product architecture, design principles, and business workflows.
Analyze user stories and define test strategy, risk areas, and test scenarios.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test scripts for enterprise web, cloud, and API applications.
Contribute to enhancement of automation framework for maintainability and faster execution.
Perform feature risk assessment and prepare PRA with peer reviews.
Automate test scenarios for new features, regression backlog, and customer defects.
Participate in performance, load, and reliability testing.
Support validation of hotfixes, patches, and production issues.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and support teams for quality improvements.
Participate in release regression planning and execution.
Validate logs, telemetry, and system behavior in distributed cloud environments.
Maintain test documentation, test data, and automation reports.
Ensure end-to-end quality ownership of assigned features.
Stay updated with latest trends in Cloud, Kubernetes, and Test Automation
AI-Driven Automation Responsibilities
- Use AI tools to generate test cases from requirements and user stories.
- Use AI coding assistants to develop and optimize automation scripts.
- Perform AI-based defect analysis and failures.
- Implement self-healing automation approaches to reduce flaky tests.
- Use AI to analyze logs, telemetry, and identify potential risk areas.
- Improve test coverage using AI-driven gap analysis.
- Contribute to adoption of AI-enabled QA practices in CI/CD pipelines.
Have you got what it takes?
Degree in Computer Science or related field.
2–5 years of experience in QA / Test Automation.
Strong programming skills in Java or C#.
Hands-on experience with Playwright / Selenium / TestNG / NUnit.
Experience in API automation using RestAssured / Postman / similar tools.
Experience integrating automation suites in CI/CD pipelines (Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Jenkins etc.).
Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.
Good knowledge of Script programming for Powershell & Terraform scripts.
Experience testing distributed or microservices-based applications.
Experience using Test Management tools such as X-Ray / TestLink .
Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud environments.
Strong debugging, RCA, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Experience in testing cloud-native applications & knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
- Experience in evaluating performance, availability, and scalability of systems.
- Experience working with Git, Bamboo, Confluence.
- Experience in and knowledge of Enterprise Unified Communications Infrastructures (such as Teams, Zoom, etc.) is a plus.
