So, what’s the role all about?
Senior Automation Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications through a combination of manual and automated end‑to‑end testing. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, executing hybrid test strategies, and leveraging AI agents to accelerate automation and improve test coverage. This position may operate in a US‑shift model and requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues, integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, and deliver high‑quality product releases.
How will you make an impact?
Conduct comprehensive e2e testing of web applications using both manual techniques and automated tools.
Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using industry standard tools and libraries‑standard tools and libraries. Integrate automated accessibility checks into CI/CD pipelines to enforce shift-left accessibility practices. Document findings with clear, actionable defect descriptions, screenshots in our test management system (i.e. JIRA)
Analyses information solves problems and reaches conclusions within his/her professional space. Create and execute automation E2E test cases for web applications along with data generation.
Responsible for defined tasks of low to medium complexity.
Good understanding of subject matter theory, professional concepts and their application within professional space. Attend training to continue to enhance existing knowledge in technical and non-technical areas. Adheres to Defined SDLC processes.
Have you got what it takes?
B.E./B. Tech in Computer Science, Industrial/Electronic Engineering.
5 to 7 years of experience in IT as Automation QA Engineer.
4 + years of hands-on experience in UI Automation testing
Expert in designing test strategy, test cases, test plans.
Playwright equivalent UI testing tools
Languages Typescript/ Java/JavaScript
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Experienced with defect management and tracking tools, preferably Jira.
Experience working in Agile methodology.
Exposure to AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude code or equivalent..
You will have an advantage if you also have:
ISTQB Certified or equivalent
Desirable to have knowledge of API validations using Postman or RestAPI.
Desirable to have knowledge of Cloud services like AWS.
Excellent communication skills, very good English
