Position Summary:

As a Corporate Account Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless access and fostering growth for our company’s products within designated corporate accounts. As an individual contributor at the director level, your primary focus will be developing and executing strategic account strategies while establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including influential physicians and management at the C-suite level within the account’s organization. You’ll be instrumental in developing strategic approaches and leading the implementation of value-added solutions at the national and regional level implementing contracts that align with the company’s growth initiatives while fostering strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Corporate Account Development: Identify new corporate accounts and develop comprehensive strategies tailored to individual strategic accounts, ensuring alignment with company objectives to achieve growth targets across DEXTENZA.
  • Relationship Management: Proactively foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the accounts, including C-level influencers, to understand their needs and address challenges and business opportunities both proactively and reactively.
  • Value-Added Solutions: Identify and propose innovative solutions, negotiate contracts and services that enhance both patient and client outcomes. Be cognizant of overall impact of decisions working closely with commercial operations to ensure financial accountability (i.e. GTN, potential ASP impact)
  • Sales Execution: Plan, coordinate, and execute activities within each strategic account to ensure contract initiatives are exercised.  This includes implementing account strategies, leveraging available resources effectively, and partnering with sales and reimbursement in a compliant manner as needed.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Market Access, to align strategies, address client needs, and ensure seamless coordination of internal and external resources needed for successful strategic account management. Create forums to ensure proactive communication across internal functions.
  • Compensation: Compensation for this role is reflective of both the strategic and execution requirements and is a combination of MBO’s and overall account production

Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, healthcare, market access, or strategic account management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience managing large corporate accounts, IDNs, GPOs, health systems, ASC networks, or physician organizations.
  • Proven record of achieving sales, access, and revenue growth goals.
  • Experience negotiating and implementing contracts and business agreements.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement, and market access.
  • Knowledge of provider business models and healthcare purchasing processes.
  • Financial acumen, including contract profitability, gross-to-net (GTN), and pricing considerations.
  • Ability to build relationships with C-suite executives, physician leaders, and key decision-makers.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (typically 50-70%).

Salary Range

$240,000—$269,000 USD
