About the Role
Ontra is seeking a Group Product Manager reporting to our Senior Director, Product.

We’re looking for a bold, strategic product leader ready to lead the charge in evolving our platform. This role sits at the cutting edge of AI, developing and deploying LLMs in novel ways to solve complex problems in private markets and legal tech. You’ll mentor and partner with a small, high-caliber team of experienced product managers, rolling up your sleeves when needed and zooming out to shape long-term strategy when it counts.
Working side by side with leaders across the organization, you’ll help define vision, align teams, and drive meaningful customer and business outcomes. What You’ll Do
- Team Leadership and Development: Manage and coach a team of Product Managers, fostering their growth and ensuring high-level execution and performance.
- Strategic Focus and Execution: Define and communicate strategic priorities, aligning them with business objectives and driving product evolution using AI capabilities.
- Data Analysis and Insight Generation: Analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to assess product performance and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their challenges and needs, utilizing these insights to refine product features and development priorities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Establish robust relationships across functions, collaborating on strategic initiatives and internal communication to align efforts and resources.
- Industry Trend Integration: Stay informed on industry trends and innovations, incorporating these insights into the strategic direction and product planning.
What You’ll Bring
- Product Experience: 8+ years in product management with demonstrated ability to drive product vision and execute strategies effectively.
- Leadership: 3+ years managing and developing other product managers, with a focus on mentorship and building high-performing teams.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, showcasing a strong foundation in product management principles.
- Strategic Development: Proven expertise in developing and executing product strategy, with a particular focus on platform products.
- Technical Aptitude: Experience with AI development, demonstrating a robust technical understanding and ability to collaborate with engineering teams.
- Product Launch: Successful track record of launching new products, with a strong understanding of market needs and consumer behavior.
Pay Transparency
Ontra takes individual candidate location, experience, and skills into consideration when determining compensation. The base pay range is listed below.
Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation, such as commission, variable compensation, profits interest units, or other equity-based compensation, which are not included in the below base pay range.

Base Pay Range
$200,000—$288,000 USD
