Role
The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a fast growing software organization that works with the world’s leading organizations and consulting firms. The role requires a consistent, top performer who has demonstrated success delivering against targets within a high growth business. The right candidate is self-aware, articulate, a good active listener and motivated by being in a highly visible, results-driven position where each person on the team has a significant impact on overall performance. The role has responsibility for organizations between 1,000 and 3,000 employees across all North America, excluding government and private equity. The role will be responsible for one or multiple industries, spanning FSI, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Manufacturing / Industrial / Energy, Retail & Consumer Good, and/or TMT.
A successful candidate will be a bold, self-starter that can build rapport quickly and is willing to put in the time to learn our business in detail. This individual will need to exude credibility in our space (org design and transformation) OR demonstrate an ability to pick up complex business concepts quickly.
An ideal candidate will have experience working with SMB and Mid-Market organizations and deep expertise in prospecting.
Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting through deal close.
Act as the BDE / BDR to develop and execute account and/or industry-based prospecting strategies.
Build an awareness of how our software is applicable to specific industries (Financial Services, TMT, Consumer, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Corporate Services, Industrial Products, Energy & Resources).
Independently manage a book of new business for organizations between 1,000 and 3,000 employees across North America.
Learn our software, the pain points it solves, and be able to tailor the value proposition as it relates to each organization.
Learn MEDDPICC sales methodology within the context of selling Orgvue.
Develop territory plans, quarterly projections, while still managing the details of weekly activity.
Scope, develop, and deliver proposal (written and oral).
Travel occasionally to prospects and to conferences.
Use tools, like Salesforce and Clari, to capture deal progress.
Meet and exceed quarterly and annual quota, which is both value and volume based.
Minimum 3 years of work experience, ideally in business development, sales, and/or pre-sales.
Familiarity with a sales process or methodology, preferred if MEDDIC or MEDDPICC.
Proven ability to grasp complex business concepts, preferred if within the context of business or workforce transformation.
Organized, proactive and able to handle multiple competing priorities with ease.
Executive presence and excellent presentation skills.
Understand and demonstrate aptitude in leveraging relationships to secure business.
The ability to travel occasionally.
