Job Description
The Manager, Business Analysis is responsible to manage a team of analysts and senior analysts with a responsibility for delivering business requirements on a broad range of projects and/or programs varying in risk, size and complexity while aligning to business strategies. This role will provide management, direction and coaching to develop organizational capabilities to meet/exceed strategic goals and achieve business results.
What You’ll Do:
Reporting to the Project Management Office Director, your principal responsibilities will be the following:
Project Delivery
Manages delivery of the business analysis function in support of project/program delivery across OTIP, balancing project methodology with practical processes to ensure alignment with project/program deliverables and the measurement/realization of project benefits.
Manages resource allocations based on skills and capabilities while setting clear expectations on work packages to effectively manage business analysis efforts in support of project/program delivery.
Responsible for the quality of artifacts and tracking individual progress based on performance measures/metrics.
Ensures process, methodologies and tools are considered and applied appropriately and timely.
Provides management support and input to the required business analysis deliverables/documentation and monitor/assess to mitigate risks, ensure quality outputs, and track progress.
Business Analysis Practice
Develops and implements a business analysis framework in support of an enterprise standard methodology in requirements planning, analysis and documentation, requirements management and support.
Responsible for the development of templates, best practices, learning tools and professional development with focus on reusability, scalability, innovation, and enterprise solutions.
Act as a consultant / resource to business partners and stakeholders at all levels by promoting and developing awareness of business analysis, requirements discipline and best practices
Maintains a high level of awareness of current enterprise, industry trends and best practices as it relates to business analysis and is considered a subject matter expert with advanced knowledge of the business analysis discipline.
Leadership
Responsible for team development through recruiting, leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
With a strong sense of business insight and spirit of collaboration, builds and maintains relationships with management, staff and other stakeholders including vendors. As part of the ESO management team, develops and maintains, models and processes for engaging and informing stakeholders. Engagement and informing may include items such as business trends, metrics, and cross departmental education.
As a leader, fosters balance between change and continuity, and acts as effective liaison in challenging situations to achieve desired results. Demonstrates a commitment to accept, implement and lead the behavioral and technical changes required to achieve organizational goals.
Creates an environment to engage and develop others to work congruently toward achieving common goals within the direct team and in the organization at large.
Develops and manages departmental goals, effective KPIs and roadmaps based on defined strategies and goals. Identifies and evaluates trends and options.
Qualifications

This is the unique blend of skills and experience we would love to see in an ideal candidate:
A university degree, college diploma or relevant post-secondary education.
8+ years’ work experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in the area of requirements management on large and complex projects with proven experience working as a BA Manager, in various delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative, and/or Agile
Certified Business Analysis Professional or Project Management Institute Professional in Business Analysis.
Excellent analytical skills, ability to think strategically and plan for cross-functional interdependencies.
Ability to collaborate and develop strong relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization with a proven ability to consult to senior leaders and external stakeholders.
Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, facilitation and influencing skills.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize diverse tasks with a proven ability to meet hard deadlines.

Salary Range:
This position offers a competitive salary within a range of $100,921 to $126,177, along with rewarding bonuses that recognize your dedication.
