We were founded in 2010 to develop industrial asset health management solutions. We help manufacturers reduce annual capital expenditure and preserve knowledge using Digital Furnace Management (DFM) and Digital Vessel Monitoring (DVM). We digitize refractory-based assets for data-driven monitoring, letting even less experienced teams make informed asset management decisions. Our approach combines technology, data, and expertise.

We offer total campaign life management for critical assets, using advanced sensors and AI software. We provide a full asset monitoring program and digitize furnace portfolios. Our experienced Asset Managers also help with data-driven decisions.

Our main products include SmartMelter for Glass Furnaces (commercialized in 2017) and an IoT Radar Sensor (introduced to the steel industry in 2020). We started researching radar-based refractory thickness sensors in 2013, funded by the US National Science Foundation, Libbey, and O-I. Field trials of this radar technology were successful in 2016.

By 2020, we served customers in over 40 countries. FM Global also recognized our SmartMelter technology in its glass industry standards. We launched our first pilot with a major US steel manufacturer in 2021 and introduced Digital Furnace Monitoring to the glass industry in 2023. We continue to work with steel manufacturers on asset transformation. We work in industries like glass, ceramics, concrete manufacturing, and steel.

We believe in smooth-running operations with minimal disruptions, and a workforce that can optimize refractory-based asset life. We do this by providing early visibility into refractory health and counteracting knowledge loss from retiring talent.
