PicnicHealth

PicnicHealth is a health technology company established in 2014 to unify patient records and advance medical research. We use a direct-to-patient approach and AI technology. We developed the Unified Patient Record, which helps patients understand their health by giving them a complete medical history. For life sciences companies, we offer a modern approach to observational research, using our PicnicAI platform for comprehensive studies. This technology is 30-50% cheaper than traditional site-based models, allows patient enrollment within 4 days of study launch, and maintains 98% patient retention annually.

PicnicAI, our AI technology, creates the Unified Patient Record and is used in research because it’s three times more accurate than GPT-4 for entity extraction. We also developed ResearchOS, an AI-powered operating system to automate complex clinical study workflows, from protocol setup to data management. Our platform supports non-interventional clinical research, including long-term follow-up, real-world data collection, real-world evidence studies, and disease/drug registries.

So far, our platform has helped 12 of the top 20 largest life sciences companies with observational research, and we’ve given tens of thousands of patients tools to manage their care.

We are a remote-first company, with optional in-person gatherings and travel opportunities throughout the year.
