Founded in 2013 by former VMware cloud experts, we simplify enterprise private clouds. Our product, Private Cloud Director, turns your existing infrastructure into a private cloud. It lets IT teams manage VMs and containers securely using familiar GUI tools and automated APIs. We support essential virtualization features like high availability, disaster recovery, networking, scaling, and reliability, all compatible with your current hardware, including third-party storage. We help you migrate from older virtualization platforms like VMware by offering capabilities such as live migration and dynamic resource balancing. This allows you to reuse existing servers, storage, backup, and disaster recovery tools. Our solution offers self-service, API access, multi-tenancy, and single sign-on. It centralizes VM and container management from a single control plane with built-in Kubernetes. Platform9 currently powers over 30,000 production nodes at global companies including Cloudera, EBSCO, Juniper Networks, and Rackspace. We focus on cloud computing, private cloud, and virtualization. Our main offices are in San Jose, CA, with additional operations in Pune, India.
