Position Summary:
We are looking for a Software Engineer with proven expertise in testing large scale, distributed cloud based systems in a continuous integration environment. The engineer in this role will drive and influence quality initiatives within product development teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product development engineers to design new tests for new features and products, analyze existing test coverage, identify gaps and add missing tests.
- Write automated tests and integrate them with CI/CD systems.
- Work on test infrastructure to design, implement and run functional, integration and scale tests.
- Encourage and build a quality focussed culture within engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Extensive relevant work experience is also acceptable.
- 4-10 years of experience in developing automated tests in a continuous integration environment for large scale systems.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in writing reliable and maintainable code in Python or Go
- Experience with continuous integration systems like Jenkins or Teamcity
- Experience with linux based systems
- Experience with cloud / containerisation technologies, preferably Kubernetes.

- Being a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment
- Troubleshooting skills
- Automated testing of the front-end
