As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities being part of our agile DevOps team working on relevant phases (incl. but not limited to development, UAT, implementation and support) of a project for introducing a modern “omni-channel” payment infrastructure that allows accepting transactions from various end-point devices.
General responsibilities:
•Actively participate in all phases of software product development including development, code reviews, testing, documentation, and deployments.
•Take part in developing Infrastructure such as code, testing, deploying and operating payment infrastructure, update, and patch applications.
•Troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues in all environments.
Competencies, skills, and knowledge:
•Expertise in Java (17+) development, knowledge of Quarkus framework is a strong advantage.
•Background in PostgreSQL and general relational database management.
•Skilled in implementing comprehensive Automated Testing strategies (Unit, UI, Cross-Platform).
•Experience deploying and managing applications using Docker/Kubernetes.
•Proficient with Maven/Jenkins for robust build and continuous integration management.
•Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.
•Fluent in English.
