Job Description

The Role

The Acquisition Lead leads a team of Sales Executives focused on acquiring new SME accounts through high-volume call outreach. You’ll drive business growth and revenue expansion by developing your team into skilled consultative sellers who deliver tailored solutions and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead, mentor, and coach Sales Executives to build strong client relationships with 90% of team performing at 100%+ target.

    • Foster a high-performance culture balancing customer advocacy with commercial success

    • Develop individual development plans and succession planning for 1-2+ internal promotion candidates

  • Strategic Account Acquisition

    • Oversee strategic account plans aligned with client challenges and business goals to consistently achieve 100%+ sales targets

    • Guide team in consultative selling, account expansion, and proactive issue resolution

    • Regularly generate market insights that allow for immediate pivoting of strategies that deliver measurable impact to organizational objectives

  • Operational Excellence

    • Set, monitor, and analyze KPIs for sales performance, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction

    • Use data-driven insights to improve team performance and implement corrective actions when needed

    • Develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance team performance and customer experience

  • Account Incubation & Stakeholder Management

    • Manage acquired accounts during initial months, ensuring seamless onboarding and smooth transition to Account Management

    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders achieving 90%+ satisfaction ratings

    • Collaborate with internal teams and communicate business status clearly across all organizational levels

Qualifications

  • Experience and Proven Track Record: Minimum 3 years leading presales, sales development, inside sales, or lead qualification teams in B2B SaaS, marketplace, or tech environments with demonstrated success transforming team performance through process improvement, enablement, and coaching with measurable improvements.
  • Discovery and Qualification Expertise: Strong consultative selling skills with ability to quickly build rapport, ask probing questions, and uncover underlying business needs in brief interactions.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Uses data to diagnose problems, test hypotheses, and measure impact, with familiarity with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools
  • Change Management and Adaptability: Capability to guide teams through role transformation while maintaining morale and performance, coaching ability to develop skills through observation and candid feedback, comfort with ambiguity and building frameworks from scratch, and balances long-term vision with short-term execution.
  • Communication and Influence: Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and present to leadership.
