About the role
You will join the Role Insights team within Hirer Insights at SEEK, playing a pivotal role in transforming marketplace and candidate interaction data into clear, self-service insights that help hirers understand market conditions and make confident, data-driven decisions. This role is dedicated to optimizing the existing experience and exploring the desirability and viability of new insight features across supply and demand, salary, candidate location, and competitor activity.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, data analysts, engineers, and go-to-market stakeholders to balance high-quality user experiences with diverse business and product objectives. Working within cross-functional squads, you will create innovative solutions through your expertise in user research, interaction design, visual design, and user validation methods while solving design problems at scale across multiple Asia-Pacific markets.
The team operates with a strong agile mindset, embracing rapid experimentation and frequent feature releases, offering a start-up feel backed by SEEK’s scale and support. You will own and help drive best-practice experiences across SEEK’s insights ecosystem, advocate for users in business decisions, and influence design priorities for continuous uplift while ensuring products continue to set industry standards for clarity, usability, and decision support.
What you’ll do
- Plan and scope design initiatives aligned with product outcomes and timelines, balancing progress over perfection in experimental contexts.
- Shape product direction and roadmap by understanding customer needs, platform capabilities, and industry trends in recruitment and user experience.

- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to solve problems, balance trade-offs, and deliver impactful solutions.
- Communicate and defend design decisions through compelling storytelling, ensuring alignment with company objectives and user insights.
- Leverage and evolve the Design System for consistency, creating bespoke components and interaction patterns when necessary.
- Design inclusive solutions tailored to the cultural and linguistic diversity of Asia-Pacific audiences.
- Investigate emerging technologies including AI and personalization to enhance platform functionality and user experience with advanced AI tool usage.
