Job Description
About the role
The Senior Product Manager - Loyalty will define and deliver the non-job-ad value and loyalty experiences that deepen relationships with hirers and grow sustainable revenue across APAC. You will own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap with particular focus on unmanaged hirer accounts, budget offers, promo codes, budgets, and future rewards or incentive constructs that increase net revenue per account.
This role will require you to take a whole-of-marketplace view, considering both hirer and candidate needs. You will be the product voice for commercial partners, helping transform the business model for managed hirers, challenging the status quo on how we structure contracts, budgets, and non-ad value to increase customer lifetime value while staying true to SEEK’s marketplace purpose.
Reporting to the Principal Product Manager for Loyalty, Insights and Upgrades, you will work closely with Product, Design, Engineering teams, Hirer Insights, analytics partners, Commercial Excellence, Sales, GTM, and Pricing partners across APAC. Success means evolving how we use non-job-ad value, budgets, contracts and incentives to activate, retain and grow hirers while demonstrating and reinforcing the value and ROI of SEEK.
Key Responsibilities
- Own clear product vision and strategy for Loyalty with longer-term roadmap for non-job-ad value capabilities that grow customer lifetime value.
- Deeply understand different hirer segments by contract value, industry, job mix and maturity to support their needs effectively.
- Lead structured customer discovery with UX partners and validate opportunities using test-and-learn approaches appropriate to ambiguity levels.
- Develop clear execution plans partnering with engineering, design and analytics to deliver new capabilities and enhancements across Loyalty products.
- Own key outcomes and metrics such as hirer retention, committed usage, paid ad share and yield with robust monitoring rituals.
- Actively manage and engage stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Design, Commercial, Strategy, Finance, Sales and Operations for alignment.
- Communicate product vision, roadmap, decisions and performance to senior stakeholders, influencing beyond direct reporting lines.
- Operate as senior member of Product Management community, providing coaching and mentoring to Product Managers and Associate Product Managers.
Qualifications
Essential skills and experience
- Strategic problem solver comfortable operating in ambiguity and making clear decisions with imperfect information.
- Structured decision maker who considers complex trade-offs across customer, commercial, technical and operational dimensions.
- Strong customer focus with track record of identifying and solving real customer needs through product discovery and delivery.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen including comfort with financials such as revenue, cost, yield, LTV and monetisation outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with data and analysts to define metrics, assess performance and inform decisions.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes, ideally across multiple markets or complex stakeholder environments.
- Ability to influence and persuade at all organizational levels and build strong stakeholder relationships across Product, Technology and Commercial teams.
- Considerable experience in online or software product development with solid understanding of agile software development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to simplify complexity and handle robust discussions constructively.
Desirable skills and experience
- Experience in marketplace, classifieds or subscription and loyalty products, ideally in B2B or SaaS environments.
- Exposure to pricing, promotions, contracts or revenue management for managed or enterprise customer segments.
- Experience working with data, analytics and AI-powered products to improve performance, targeting or insights for customers.
- Experience operating across multiple APAC geographies and navigating diverse customer, regulatory and go-to-market contexts.
