Job Description
As a Senior Strategy Manager at SEEK, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining and delivering our long-term vision and growth ambitions. Focused on topics within SEEK’s APAC product strategy as part of the Strategy Operations Centre of Gravity, you’ll tackle some of our most critical and complex challenges, spanning multiple product and AI domains.
You’ll lead deep strategic thinking, apply analytical rigour, and turn insights into action. This role suits someone who thrives in ambiguity, is energised by solving complex business problems, and is excited by the opportunity to shape SEEK’s future at scale.
What You’ll Be Doing
✅ Lead strategy projects spanning multiple product and AI domains, becoming the ‘go-to’ expert for senior leadership and the broader organisation
✅ Develop and apply analytical frameworks to investigate business issues, identify solutions and make recommendations
✅ Create situational awareness across the organisation through strategic metrics, key results, industry trends and competitor analysis
✅ Communicate strategy with simplicity and impact to all levels—from senior executives to delivery teams
✅ Collaborate in project teams alongside Product, AI and Technology stakeholders to design, test and iterate future solutions
✅ Be a vocal advocate for the strategy, providing guidance to execution teams to ensure alignment
The Opportunity
You’ll join SEEK’s global Strategy team, a high-performing group of ~40 ex-consultants from premier firms, working across APAC. With exposure to some of SEEK’s most senior leaders, including the Head of Strategy Operations, Directors of Strategy, and Group Executives of Product, AI and Technology, you’ll have a rare opportunity to shape the long-term direction of one of the region’s most recognised tech brands. Qualifications
✔ 5-8 years’ experience in strategy-related roles, with 3-4 years in a top-tier strategy consulting firm
✔ Highly developed conceptual reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to frame strategic problems
✔ Experience in developing business-level strategy and breaking this down into objectives, targets and initiatives
✔ Track record of delivering results through cross-functional teams
✔ Ability to influence and build support for fact-based recommendations with diverse stakeholders
✔ High learning orientation and desire to become a global expert in online marketplace design and operations
✔ Passion for growth strategy and excellent business acumen, with experience leading complex and ambiguous strategic projects
✔ Experience in media, internet or tech industries is a plus
