Job Description
About You
You will own and enhance SEEK’s back-office and identity platforms, with a primary focus on Microsoft 365 and related services, ensuring they are secure, highly available and aligned to our cloud-first strategy.
Based in Kuala Lumpur with 2–3 days a week working from home, you will act as the senior technical escalation point, driving infrastructure projects across data centre, AWS and Azure environments, while mentoring teammates and influencing how we deliver enterprise services at scale.
What You Will Do
- Implement, configure, support and tune high-availability back-office systems in a secure environment.
- Manage and support identity and collaboration platforms including Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Active Directory, Okta and related services.
- Configure and support infrastructure services such as AD, DHCP, DNS and mail systems across multiple regions.
- Drive and deliver key infrastructure projects and technical initiatives across datacentre, AWS and Azure platforms within agreed timeframes.
- Leverage IaaS, SaaS, PaaS and Infrastructure as Code to automate and improve capacity, availability, performance and configuration management.
- Identify risks to service and availability, design mitigations and ensure SLAs are consistently met for IT systems and services.
- Mentor and train team members, provide technical guidance, and act as the go-to escalation point for complex system issues, including occasional on-call support.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Around 10+ years’ enterprise experience in Systems Engineering or a similar role.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows Server, identity management and related back-office services.
- Hands-on experience in modern cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code, plus scripting with PowerShell, Python or similar.
- Experience implementing, maintaining and supporting infrastructure on Microsoft and Linux platforms, including standard operating environments and virtual desktops.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), including governance, security and integration with Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Ability to analyse and resolve complex performance and availability issues, document designs and proposals clearly, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

About the team
You will join the Workplace Platform Engineers team, who design, run and evolve the platforms and back-office systems that keep SEEK’s people productive every day.
The team partners closely with the Enterprise Technology Group, Security Operations, internal business units and external vendors to deliver secure, reliable and scalable identity, collaboration and infrastructure services in a cloud-first environment.Working within SEEK’s “Our SEEK” culture, the team values collaboration, high-quality delivery and long-term thinking while actively sharing knowledge and uplifting each other’s skills.
