Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator Intern plays a vital role in supporting our recruitment operations by managing the coordination aspects of the hiring process. This position ensures seamless candidate experience while supporting Talent Acquisition Consultants and hiring managers to deliver efficient recruitment outcomes across the APAC region.
The role encompasses end-to-end coordination activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communications, documentation preparation, and background screening processes. Additionally, the coordinator contributes to process improvements, maintains recruitment resources, supports reporting and analytics efforts, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement across our talent acquisition functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Coordination & Support:
- Coordinate end-to-end interview scheduling across different time zones and stakeholders
- Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process
- Prepare and distribute letters, employment contracts, and related documentation
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment data in SmartRecruiters
- Collaborate with the Human Resources Operations team to prepare for the seamless transition and onboarding of new hires.
Process Management & Improvement:
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance recruitment efficiency, including identifying redundant processes and opportunities for automation.
- Maintain and update recruitment templates, guides, and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence through process optimization
- Research and recommend automation solutions for routine coordination activities
Reporting & Analytics:
- Coordinate recruitment reporting and data analyst efforts, oversee dashboard monitoring, and collaborate on initiatives to improve data quality and actionable insights.
- Support compliance requirements and audit processes
- Maintain recruitment metrics and provide operational insights
The Team
You will report to the APAC TA Operations Manager as a key TA team member. The APAC TA team comprises talent acquisition professionals specializing in hiring for different areas of SEEK.
The TA team forms part of the broader P&C team, which includes HR Generalists, Remuneration and Benefits, Payroll and HR Information Systems, Corporate Communications, and our Operations Support team.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated growth mindset with proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement
- Proven ability to take initiative and drive process improvements independently
