We are looking for a Digital Merchandising Specialist to join our team and take ownership of the on-site discovery experience for our Entertainment, Merchandise & Personal Care categories. Our team is exclusively responsible for how customers find, browse, and filter products across Public.gr,Public.cy & PublicBusiness.gr — from the moment they click the search bar to the products they see on a category page.

You will own search, navigation, and merchandising decisions across your category portfolio, working at the intersection of data, UX, and commercial strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end search experience for your categories — from pre-click recommendations and autosuggest behavior to the final search results page, optimizing for conversion, success rate and findability
  • Manage and continuously improve the Mega Menu, category tree, and on-page navigation across PLPs and category landing pages
  • Curate Product Listing Pages (PLPs) — the products displayed and their ordering across categories such as Gaming, Beauty, Toys, Books and more
  • Design and maintain filter logic (brand, attributes, price, etc.) on each PLP, balancing usability with commercial priorities
  • Monitor performance daily across GA4, Microsoft Clarity, internal sales dashboards and organic traffic; flag anomalies and surface opportunities proactively
  • Run quarterly deep-dive category overhauls — a full revamp of Filters, Synonyms and Sorting Rules for one underperforming major category per quarter
  • Conduct ongoing competitor analysis on search, navigation, taxonomy and filter design, translating findings into actionable changes
  • Define AI product logic for your scope — recommendation rules and front-end/back-end automation behavior — and build business cases for new tools you propose
  • Maintain category tree health: mapping, cleaning unused “ghost” categories, and standardizing seasonal structures
  • QA new features, tools and digital merchandising changes before they go live

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in eCommerce, digital merchandising, web analytics or a related field
  • Strong analytical mindset; comfortable with GA4, Microsoft Clarity (or similar session-recording/heatmap tools) and turning raw data into decisions
  • Solid understanding of how users navigate an eCommerce site — search behavior, category browsing, filter usage
  • Familiarity with on-site search engines, navigation taxonomies, or product feed management is a significant plus
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; able to manipulate large datasets and build reports
  • Detail-oriented; you notice when a filter is missing, a category is mislabeled, or a search query returns the wrong results
  • Commercial mindset — you understand that every merchandising decision has a direct sales impact
  • Curiosity about AI tools and how they can be applied to on-site discovery and content operations
  • Excellent communication skills in Greek and English; you will be aligning daily with content, tech, category and commercial teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
