Role Summary
Lead automated testing across UI, API, and orchestration, embedding quality gates in GitLab pipelines.
Experience: 10+years
Key Responsibilities
- Define strategy; build maintainable UI/API automation and contract tests.
- Integrate performance/security tests; ensure flake-free CI.
- Provide quality/risk dashboards; coach QE team.
Required Skills
- Test automation (TypeScript/JS/Python), Cypress/Playwright, pytest.
- Contract testing (e.g., PACT), performance testing (k6/Locust/JMeter).
- Private cloud scenario design (provisioning, policies, approvals).
- DB validation for PostgreSQL/MS SQL operations and migrations.
KPIs / Success Measures
- Automation coverage, pipeline pass rate, escaped defects, flakiness trend.
Tools / Tech
- Cypress/Playwright, Jest, pytest, k6/Locust, Pact, GitLab CI
