Job Description
Description
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Type: Full-time
Stage: Post-seed, founding engineering team
Product: 3D platform for cultural institutions (Gaussian Splatting, photogrammetry, marketplace)
Tosee is a platform for experiencing cultural heritage in 3D. We use 3D Gaussian Splatting and photogrammetry to let people walk through museums, explore archaeological sites, and interact with artefacts — from anywhere in the world.
We are moving from a single-institution viewer into a multi-tenant product with marketplace capabilities: institutions will host, curate, and distribute 3D cultural assets under their own branding. Our partners include major Polish national museums and heritage institutions.
About the role
We are looking for a Junior/Mid-Level Product Engineer to join the founding engineering team as the person who keeps the product moving every day.
This is a hands-on role, not a specialised one. While the CTO handles 3D rendering and the senior engineer builds backend infrastructure, you will work across the frontend and general product surface: implementing UI changes, maintaining components, handling deployments, and ensuring the application stays clean, responsive, and functional.
This role is ideal for an engineer with 2–4 years of experience who wants to grow within a small team where your work has direct, visible impact — and where you will learn from both a senior engineer and a technically engaged CTO.
Your responsibilities
As Junior/Mid Product Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Frontend implementation: building and refining UI components, menus, navigation, and responsive layouts,
Content and asset updates: text changes, icon integration, asset swaps, internationalisation string management,
Deployment and version control: managing Git workflow, running deployments, maintaining CI/CD pipelines,
Integration work: connecting frontend components to backend APIs as they become available,
Testing and QA: cross-browser testing, performance checks, bug triage,
Documentation: keeping technical docs current as the product evolves,
General engineering tasks: the day-to-day work that keeps a product alive and moving forward.
Who we are looking for (Must-have)
Solid JavaScript, HTML, and CSS — you can build responsive, accessible interfaces without relying on frameworks as a crutch,
Git proficiency — branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution are routine,
Comfort with deployment workflows — you have deployed web applications and are not afraid of the terminal,
Basic understanding of REST APIs — you can consume endpoints and debug integration issues,
Attention to detail — pixel-level care about UI consistency and polish,
Fluent English (C1+) — working language of the team,
C1+ level of spoken and written Polish.
Nice to have
Experience with Three.js or WebGL,
Familiarity with CMS or admin panel interfaces,
Interest in cultural heritage, museums, or digital preservation,
Experience with internationalisation (i18n) workflows,
Exposure to CI/CD configuration and DevOps basics.
What we offer
Founding team membership — your work directly shapes the product from day one,
Mentorship — work alongside a senior engineer and technically engaged CTO,
Meaningful domain: museums, cultural heritage, and spatial computing,
Growth trajectory — as the platform scales, so does your role and responsibility
Remuneration: from PLN 10 000 PLN net/month (B2B + Vat),
Remote-first, async-friendly.
