Refurbed is scaling its risk function to support growth across seller onboarding, payments, fraud prevention, and broader enterprise risk reporting. To strengthen execution capacity and ensure continuity, we are hiring a Risk Analyst to support day-to-day risk operations, maintain key controls and reporting.
Who you are
You are comfortable working with data and metrics and enthusiastic with AI tools.
You are very keen on accuracy and quality and always have high attention to detail.
You have a hands-on mentality and communicate clearly and collaborate well with different stakeholders.
You work in a structured way and care about documentation, checklists, and maintaining an audit trail.
You are curious and willing to learn risk topics across credit, payments, fraud, compliance, and operations.
You care about the world and want to spend your time making a difference.
You are fluent in English.
What you’ll do
Analyze data to uncover insights and drive decision-making, optimizing the efficiency of risk management strategies.
Maintain risk registers and documentation (risk descriptions, mitigations, owners, and status updates). Support periodic risk reporting, ensuring inputs are complete and consistent.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Work with other departments to ensure compliance with regulations.
Monitor risk KPIs and early-warning indicators.
Support seller and partner risk controls with operation teams.
Assist with fraud and abuse risk analysis by investigating patterns, supporting rule tuning discussions, and documenting decisions.
Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and test innovative risk strategies that secure trust in our marketplace.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
