We are an association of 580 independent luxury hotels and restaurants worldwide, established in 1954. Many of our properties are family-run, focusing on creating memorable experiences for guests.

We offer luxury hospitality, including personalized service, farm-to-table dining, wellness treatments, and fine dining. This can involve planning and coordinating guest stays, events, and activities, or overseeing daily operations from dining rooms to housekeeping and spa facilities. Our member properties are located in diverse settings, from adults-only resorts in Vermont to remote getaways in British Columbia and coastal retreats.

We protect and promote diverse culinary and hospitality traditions worldwide. We are also committed to preserving local heritage and the environment, a pledge we outlined in our Vision presented at UNESCO in November 2014.
