About Relativity Space

We build reusable rockets to make access to space more reliable and routine. Our primary product is Terran R, a medium-to-heavy lift reusable rocket that delivers customer payloads to orbit. Terran R transports 23,500 kg to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) with downrange landing, 5,500 kg to Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO) with downrange landing, and 33,500 kg to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) in an expendable configuration.

We have over $3B in pre-sold launch contracts from customers in various sectors, including blue-chip companies, telecommunications giants, and government entities. Beyond launch services, we develop platforms for interplanetary exploration and next-generation manufacturing technologies.

Founded in 2016, we operate from five US locations: California, Mississippi, Florida, Washington, D.C., and Seattle.

Mission & Values

Our mission is to make access to space more reliable and routine, connecting humanity to space and the universe. We aim to enhance space accessibility, improve connection reliability, and promote sustainable interactions in space.

Our core values are Wonder (approaching the world with awe and a desire to create), Humanity (expanding possibilities for the human experience), Relentlessness (achieving meaningful results), and Audacity (challenging convention for an expansive future).

Team & Culture

Our team has between 1,001 and 5,000 employees, including about 2,000 experts in aerospace, manufacturing, propulsion, and software.

We foster a culture for individuals with ambitious ideas and the drive to realize them. We emphasize in-person collaboration, believing that the best work comes from teams solving problems together and pushing boundaries through iteration and first principles thinking.

In 2025, former Google CEO Eric Schmidt joined our leadership team.
