About the Role

As a fraud analyst you will be conducting manual review of ecommerce orders with the aim of blocking fraudulent orders, identifying fraud attacks and supporting fraud prevention efforts. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced fraud analyst. The role requires strong analytical skills, independent and creative thinking, quick decision-making, and flexibility. The role involves shift work requiring availability for night shifts (until midnight) and at least one weekend shift per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Review transactions and make accurate, timely decisions to detect fraud.
  • Conduct fraud tagging, labeling, and analysis to strengthen decision management.
  • Analyze patterns and provide insights to improve machine-learning algorithms.
  • Support fraud analysis for customer service tickets and online decision processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a fraud analyst in the ecommerce industry - required
  • Flexible work hours (shift work) and ability to work weekends - required
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills - required
  • Analytical skills with a focus on identifying patterns and providing insights
  • Proven ability to quickly review transactions and make informed decisions under pressure
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and support research with actionable insights
  • Basic knowledge of SQL - a plus

Hybrid position - ability to work 1 day weekly from Sao Paulo office
