About Secure Code Warrior
Founded in 2015, we are a secure coding platform. We help developers learn, apply, and retain software security principles, ensuring applications are released free of vulnerabilities. We work with over 600 enterprises globally.
Our platform offers over 10,000 conceptual and interactive learning activities, covering more than 600 vulnerability topics and security concepts across over 70 coding languages and frameworks. We offer self-paced learning, customized curriculums, skills assessments, and tournaments. The SCW Trust Score measures security program effectiveness, using over 20 million learning data points from more than 600 companies and 250,000 learners. Warrior Connect integrates secure development resources into developers’ daily tools. We also offer professional services to help implement programs and reduce risk.
We expanded globally in 2017 by acquiring the Belgian firm Sensei. Between 2018 and 2019, we secured Series A and B funding and expanded into new verticals. From 2020 to 2023, we acquired the Icelandic technology company Adversary, obtained Series C funding, and formed partnerships with companies like GitHub, GitLab, Contrast, and Synopsys. In 2024, we reported serving over 650 global enterprise customers and achieved SOC 2 Type II certification.
Mission & Values
Our mission is to establish new standards for secure coding that transform how software is created. We operate under ‘The Warrior Code’ values:
- We always prioritize the customer; their success contributes to ours.
- We work as one team, succeeding together regardless of joining date, location, or department.
- We treat customers and team members with candor, embracing diverse views and giving open feedback.
- We take ownership of actions, decisions, and outcomes to support individual and company growth.
- We act with integrity, doing what is right to build trust and ensure our long-term success.
Team & Culture
We have over 200 employees working across 8 locations globally, including Sydney, Boston, Portland, London, Bruges, and Reykjavík. We maintain a remote-first culture, while also offering office options for hybrid work, such as in Sydney.
Our culture is supportive, building community and transparency, and focusing on contributing to the greater good. Our team is diverse and passionate. We celebrate individuals for who they are and what they contribute, embracing diverse backgrounds and thinking. We are dedicated to building an inclusive environment that champions everyone’s efforts.
Our hiring process has multiple stages: an initial call with a Talent Partner, an interview with the hiring manager to assess competence and skills, and a challenge-based interview (which might be a 30/60/90-day plan, coding challenge, role play, or product roadmap exercise). Candidates then receive feedback before we conduct reference checks and extend a job offer.
Through our ‘Warriors Give Back’ program, all employees receive two paid volunteer days annually for community involvement.
Benefits & Perks

These include an Employee Share Option Plan, paid parental leave, unlimited paid time off, a Warrior referral program, and a home office reimbursement.
