Founded in 2011, we are a specialist bank working with real estate professionals, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and individual customers. We offer a range of lending products and savings accounts, including business finance, property finance, personal loans, asset finance, and mortgages like buy-to-let and commercial options.

We support UK businesses, professional property investors, and individuals, providing finance for property developers, residential, and commercial landlords. We deliver individual loans digitally, combining our expertise with technology and data. We serve over 540,000 customers, managing a £10.5 billion loan book and £10.9 billion in customer savings. Customer deposits are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £120,000 per person across all accounts.

Our brands include JBR Capital for specialist motor finance, Whiteaway Laidlaw for savings products, The Mortgage Lender for residential and buy-to-let mortgages, and Bluestone Mortgages for residential mortgages for borrowers with complex credit histories.
