Headquartered in Ghent, with offices in London, Luxembourg, Gouda (NL), and Mont-Saint-Guibert (BE), we’re a team of over 200 people - including a diverse remote engineering team working across multiple time zones - all working together to drive innovation in accounting.

Are you a results-oriented Account Executive with a passion for securing new business? Silverfin is on the lookout for a committed Account Executive to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth, actively pursuing new opportunities and expanding our footprint among accountancy firms in Luxembourg.

We are excited to strengthen our presence in Luxembourg with our new office in Howald, reinforcing our commitment to growth and strategic expansion in the region.

As an Account Executive at Silverfin, you’ll be stepping into our high-energy sales team where a new business mindset is not just appreciated - it’s essential. We’re looking for someone who thrives on developing new opportunities and turning leads into long-term results. The team’s mission? Drive growth in Luxembourg by acquiring top tier firms.

This role is all about new business development. You’ll build pipeline from the ground up, open doors with decision-makers, and help boost our brand visibility across the region. Curiosity and strategic thinking are key: you’ll need to uncover prospects’ pain points through sharp discovery, navigate complex sales cycles, and navigate concerns with confidence and clarity. Above all, you’re someone who creates impact and builds things together.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business with accounting firms in Luxembourg.

  • You deeply understand customer pain points, to clearly grasp the customer’s goals, and to identify where Silverfin can provide the right solution.

  • Develop and present value based outcomes to accounting partners / stakeholders

  • Build and Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, with monthly and yearly targets in mind so as to forecast and deliver repeatable revenue

  • Build a trustworthy relationship and be our key sales contact person with our client base in Luxembourg

  • Listen to the customer’s short and long-term needs and align them with the company’s growth strategy

  • Serve as a spokesperson at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions

  • Ability to be an individual contributor but also a team player with other Sales Team Members

Additionally, the Account Executive is accountable for staying up-to-date with industry trends, understanding the competitive landscape, and continuously improving their product knowledge and sales skills to better serve clients and drive revenue growth.

What will support your success?

  • First experience in selling B2B solutions within SaaS, Finance/Accounting, or another easily transferable industry is highly desirable.

  • Proven track record of winning complex deals with new clients

  • Strong commercial outlook, natural seller, excellent networker and consultative approach to business development

  • Solid understanding of cloud technology, SaaS.

  • Native French. Fluent professional use of English. German is a plus.

  • Discovery skills on point, with the ability to navigate common objections and blockers with ease and creativity.

  • Strong focus on Pipeline Generation and deal generation

  • Outstanding people and communication skills, honesty and integrity are key

  • Proactive and hands-on, able to drive sales process end-to-end

  • You’re curious, driven, and solutions-oriented. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

  • Just as important: you’re a strong team player who is able to work independently as well as a collaborative contributor. The Luxembourg team operates like a start-up within the broader Silverfin business.
